Helping EMT Students Pass With Confidence

My name is Eli Atkinson, and I’m the founder of EmtStudentNotes.

What started as a simple idea to create better EMT study resources has grown into a community focused on helping EMT students succeed in school, pass the NREMT, and build confidence in themselves throughout the process.

I created EmtStudentNotes because I saw how overwhelming EMT school and NREMT preparation could feel for students. There was a huge gap between the information students were expected to learn and the way most study materials actually taught it.

Most resources felt outdated, overly complicated, or disconnected from how students truly learn best.

So I decided to build something different.

Today, EmtStudentNotes helps students through modern study systems, coaching, simplified education tools, practice support, and mentorship designed specifically for EMT students preparing for the NREMT and real-world EMS careers.

Why I Built This

I know firsthand how stressful EMS education can be.

The long hours of studying, the pressure of testing, and the fear of failing the NREMT can take a serious toll on students mentally and emotionally.

What many students need is not just more information.

They need:

  • structure
  • guidance
  • strategy
  • accountability
  • confidence
  • and someone who understands the process

That’s exactly what I wanted to create.

Over time, EmtStudentNotes grew from study materials into something much bigger - a system designed to help students simplify the learning process and approach the NREMT with confidence.

What I Focus On

Through coaching, digital resources, and mentorship, my goal is to help EMT students:

  • Understand difficult concepts more clearly
  • Study more efficiently instead of longer
  • Build confidence before the NREMT
  • Reduce stress and overwhelm
  • Improve testing strategy and critical thinking
  • Stay accountable throughout the process
  • Feel supported while pursuing EMS

I believe students perform best when they understand how to think through EMS concepts instead of simply memorizing information.

That philosophy is at the core of everything I build.

Coaching & Mentorship

One of the biggest parts of what I do now is working directly with students through coaching and mentorship.

These programs are designed to provide students with more than just study materials.

Students receive personalized guidance, structured study systems, accountability, testing strategies, and direct support throughout their preparation journey.

The goal is simple:

Help students stop feeling lost and start feeling confident.
